Over

Over combines photographs from Kacper Kowalski’s book of the same title with the string quartet piece by Jarosław Kapuściński, Alikeness 8. The images were shot from 500ft above in a frosty, winter air and show landscapes around Gdynia. Meditative and at times, disturbing, they are interpreted through the lens of Kapuściński’s emotional music. Joy, peace and beauty coexist with destruction, sadness and feelings of loss.
